The AM-ASS-OS Ankle-Foot Orthosis (AFO) is made from laminated carbon fiber composite, offering a lightweight and dynamic solution for patients with neurological conditions or muscle weakness affecting foot dorsiflexion. It supports the forefoot lift during walking and improves toe clearance, promoting a more natural and energy-efficient gait.
This orthosis is especially suitable for individuals with partial foot amputation when combined with a custom-made insole to replace the missing foot segment. The device fits well with orthopedic footwear and can be worn discreetly under clothing.
