Umbilical hernia belt AM-PPB
An umbilical hernia occurs when the abdominal wall is weakened and, under physical strain, tears—allowing part of the intestine to protrude through the opening. This condition is commonly seen in children and the elderly (due to weaker abdominal muscles), as well as in weightlifters, individuals with obesity, and pregnant women. Symptoms of an umbilical hernia include swelling or bulging around the navel, often accompanied by sharp abdominal pain. Over time, the hernia can enlarge, and if surgery is not planned, it is important to manage the hernia conservatively with the use of a hernia support brace.
