Drop foot orthosis AM-OSS-21/CCA
Orthosis (Dictus Brace) for Foot Drop Symptoms. The Dictus Brace is designed to alleviate the symptoms of foot drop during walking. Equipped with the BOA® Fit System, it immediately improves foot lifting during gait and ensures proper gait pattern development. The orthosis is easy to put on and comfortable to use.
PURPOSE OF USE (INDICATIONS):
- Limited or absent foot dorsiflexion (toe lift)
- Weakness and spasticity of the extensor muscles caused by conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, peroneal nerve dysfunction, etc.
- Diabetes
- Lower extremity trauma
MATERIAL DESCRIPTION:
Active3D™ is a thermoformed fabric made of a special closed-cell foam material. It reduces pressure on the body and prevents abrasions. The fabric is waterproof and sweat-resistant, making it easy to clean. Due to its properties, this fabric is an excellent choice for orthosis manufacturing. ACTIVE 3D™ features several external self-adhesive layers. The material has unique thermoformed properties, allowing it to be shaped according to the functional goals of the orthosis.
The BOA® Fit System is made from high-quality, durable materials to provide a micro-adjustable connection. The system allows for adjusting the foot lift amplitude—the tighter the mechanism is pulled, the higher the foot will be lifted.
The orthosis is one size fits all. It is suitable for ankle circumferences from 20 to 30 cm.
